About the image...
The tree was right outside the motel window. I couldn't believe how beautiful the textures were. Just had to photograph it. And that was about 4 years ago. Then when I started to play with the image, the colours and textures just appeared.
It's a bit out of the ordinary for me, but I am really happy with the completed image: I feel it portrays the beauty I first saw. I am looking forward to seeing this piece printed as a banner on heavy rich satin ...
